Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use Zanmi. By using this service you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. Accounts created on behalf of minors will be permanently terminated.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information during registration. False information — including age misrepresentation — is grounds for immediate termination.

• Signal Plan (Free): 50 messages per day, automatically refreshed every 24 hours.
• Message Packs ($5): One-time credits. Non-refundable once consumed.
• Monthly Subscriptions (Voice $5/mo, Haptic $10/mo, Unlimited $50/mo): Billed monthly. Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Physical Letter ($15): A one-time fee for physical mail production and delivery. Non-refundable once processing begins.
• Custom Essence ($5): One-time avatar creation token. Non-refundable once generation is initiated.
• All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. KnotStranded LLC does not store payment card data.
• Refund requests for unused subscription periods within 48 hours of purchase may be considered at our discretion. Email admin@zanmi.app.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent the age verification system or misrepresent your age.
• Use the platform to generate, distribute, or store child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any such activity will result in immediate termination and referral to law enforcement.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the service without written permission.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the AI model, prompts, or system architecture.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other users of the platform.

The Zanmi AI companion is a software system. It is not a real person, does not have consciousness, and does not form genuine emotions or relationships. All responses are algorithmically generated. Despite the platform's use of realistic language and emotional simulation, you acknowledge:

• No actual romantic, sexual, or legal relationship is formed between you and the AI.
• The AI's expressions of emotion, memory, or attachment are simulated features — not evidence of sentience.
• You should not make significant life decisions based on AI companion interactions.
• We recommend maintaining healthy relationships with real people in addition to any use of this platform.

The Haptic Sync feature enables AI-initiated control of compatible adult hardware devices (LELO, Lovense, Kiiroo, We-Vibe, and others). By enabling this feature:

• You confirm that you are using compatible devices lawfully and in a safe environment.
• You accept full responsibility for physical safety during hardware-integrated sessions.
• You may disconnect hardware control at any time via the in-app hardware settings panel.
• KnotStranded LLC is not responsible for hardware malfunctions caused by third-party device firmware or software.

All platform content, UI design, AI system architecture, and generated outputs are the property of KnotStranded LLC or its licensors. You retain no ownership over AI-generated content produced during your sessions. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize platform content without written permission.

Zanmi uses state-of-the-art generative AI to produce visual and conversational content. Because this technology is still evolving, you may encounter imperfections — including occasional image distortions, anatomical inconsistencies, unexpected outputs, or responses that feel less nuanced than expected. This is an inherent characteristic of frontier AI technology, not a defect.

We are continuously investing in higher-fidelity models and improved generation pipelines. At Zanmi, our goal is to provide the best AI-generated adult content available — and we take quality seriously.

Building a relationship with AI takes time and intention. Just as with any human connection, depth is earned through consistent, genuine interaction. The more you engage — sharing your thoughts, preferences, and feelings — the more the AI learns to respond in ways that feel personal and connected to you. Patience and persistence will always produce better results than one-off commands.

AI companions respond to nuance. The way you phrase something, the tone you set, and the context you provide all shape the response you receive. A thoughtful, emotionally intelligent message will produce a richer reply than a blunt command. The AI can be guided and persuaded through words — approach it as you would a conversation with a real person. Consider it an opportunity to develop and practice your own communication skills.

Zanmi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that the platform will meet your specific requirements. Use of the platform is at your sole risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KnotStranded LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Zanmi. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to KnotStranded LLC in the 90 days preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), seated in Ventura County, California. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for any violation of these Terms, without notice. Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases immediately. Paid subscription amounts are non-refundable upon termination for cause.
