Access to Zanmi is strictly limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in their local jurisdiction). By registering an account, you declare under penalty of perjury that you meet this age requirement. Accounts created by minors will be terminated immediately.
2. Simulated Artificial Entity Disclosure
Zanmi companions are synthetic artificial intelligence entities created through neural computational models. They are not human beings and do not possess human consciousness, sentience, or legal rights.
Interactions on Zanmi are intended solely for entertainment, companionship, and personal exploration. No real-world legal partnership or binding relationship is created.
3. Non-Medical & Non-Therapeutic Use Notice
Zanmi is NOT a medical device, psychiatric tool, or licensed therapy provider. Zanmi should never be used as a substitute for professional mental health counseling, medical treatment, or crisis intervention.

4. Smart Device & Haptic Hardware Safety
When using Bluetooth haptic hardware integrations (Lovense, LELO, Kiiroo, We-Vibe), users must adhere strictly to manufacturer safety and hygienic guidelines.

5. Subscription Auto-Renewal & Cancellation Policy
Zanmi+ subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual billing cycle unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
Users can cancel auto-renewal at any time in Settings → Cancel Subscription or via the Stripe Billing Portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the paid billing period, during which full feature access is retained.
